WEBSTER, MA— A Webster woman died and her boyfriend faces assault charges after a violent domestic dispute on Sunday morning, according to Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr.

Brenda L. Hatheway, 43, Harris Street, Webster, was found unresponsive in the street near her home. She was transported to Hubbard Regional Hospital where she was pronounced dead at about 9:30 a.m.

Joseph Kenadek, 51, of the same address, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and battery, and domestic assault and battery. He is being held on $500,000 bail and will be arraigned on Monday in Dudley District Court.

According to an investigation, Hatheway and Kenadek were involved in a loud argument in their apartment that spilled out onto a second floor porch and eventually into the street. At some point the argument turned physical. First responders, responding to a 911 call at 8:47 a.m., found Hatheway unresponsive in the street and Mr. Kenadek nearby.

State Police Detectives assigned to the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office and Webster Police are continuing to investigate.

Hatheway's daughter, Sabrina Lee Hatheway, 23, went missing in December of 2014 from the Worcester home she lived in. Brenda told MassLive that she believed her daughter was dead, and that a Worcester search that had occurred was related to her disappearance. Family created a Find Sabrina Hatheway Facebook page, which was active as recently as April 21.
