'WHAT'S UP JERKS?' New 'City of Worcester Official' Facebook Page Anything But Official
Those in the Woo are buzzing about an apparent new impostor site for the 'City of Worcester.'
WORCESTER, MA—Folks have theories about who's behind the new page, but it's safe to say that the new "City of Worcester, Official" Facebook page that crept up on Friday is anything but official.
With rapid-fire status updates that include, "WHAT'S UP, JERKS," "I see all you lawyers jaywalking outside the courthouse HYPOCRITES" and "Congrats to Kirsch Liquors on being voted "Worcester's stickiest floor" three years running," the page is clearly not run by our city officials.
"Parody account which I too thought was real at first then clicked on it and well," wrote one questioning Facebooker.
As of Friday afternoon, the page had more than 1,600 likes.
