Where To Get Rid Of Christmas Trees In Worcester
Worcester is not collecting Christmas trees at the curb. There are three drop-off locations.

WORCESTER, MA — As difficult as it was to find a Christmas tree in 2020, now it's time to start thinking about throwing yours away.
In Worcester, there will be no curbside tree pickup in 2020. Instead, residents should take (live, organic) trees to one of three collection points. Collection began on Dec. 26 and will run through Jan. 11.
- 1065 Millbury St. — Weekdays, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Saturday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Sundays 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- 290 Chandler St. — Weekdays, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Saturday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- 370 Clark St. — Weekdays, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Saturday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
A few reminders: all decorations must be removed from the tree before throwing it away — that includes tinsel, as annoying as it is. Trees can only be dropped off while city staff are present. Anything dropped off outside collection hours can be considered illegal dumping, according to DPW.
