Woman Arrested for Robbing Honey Farms in Disguise

A woman was arrested on Thursday for a robbery that occurred in July.

WORCESTER, MA—

Police responded to the Honey Farms at 304 Belmont St. at 2 a.m. on July 10 for reports of an armed robbery. Police talked to the clerk who said that a woman came into the store, said she had a gun, and demanded cash from the drawer. She handed over the cash, and the woman fled the store. The clerk said the suspected robber wore a winter hat and large sunglasses.

Worcester Police Detectives conducted a thorough investigation, speaking with the victim and witnesses as well as collecting evidence. As a result of the investigation, police were able to identify Alicia Rojas, 30 years old of Worcester as the suspect. On July 28, a warrant was issued for Rojas for the charge of Armed Robbery while Masked.

On Thursday, Sept. 1, at 1:30 p.m., Worcester Police located Rojas at 7 Neponset St. and placed her under arrest for the warrant.
