Woman In Ashburnham Crash In Critical Condition
The woman was struck by a truck while driving on a rural road.
ASBURNHAM, MA—A 59-year-old Ashburnham woman was brought to the hospital on Friday with multiple injuries after she was struck by a tractor trailer truck on a rural road, according to Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr.
Police responded to a 911 call around 11:30 a.m. to Rindge State Road, where Martha E. Larson of an address on that street, was transported to UMass in Worcester. She was listed in critical condition.
The driver of the truck, whose name has not been released, stayed at the scene and cooperated with police. The circumstances of the crash remain under investigation.
