A 25-year-old woman has been charged after a violent robbery at the Christopher House nursing home on Jan. 14.

WORCESTER, MA — Worcester police have arrested a 25-year-old local woman and charged her in connection to a robbery at the Christopher House nursing home on Jan. 14. Elanna Williams was arrested on an outstanding warrant, but has also been charged with unarmed robbery, vandalism, assault and battery on a person over 60, assault and battery, and trespass.

The caught-on-video robbery happened last Tuesday morning at the nursing home located along Mary Scano Drive. A woman can be seen entering a room, and then fighting back when nursing home employees try to keep her contained in a room.

One of the employees caught in the struggle broke a finger, and another had a head injury, according to Boston 25. The suspect made off with a purse.

Worcester police said Williams will be arraigned at Worcester District Court this week.
