Woman, Man Arrested For Robbing Man From 'Meet Me' App
A Spencer woman and Worcester man are facing charges for allegedly robbing a man they lured through an app.

WORCESTER, MA — Two are under arrest after allegedly luring a man through an app called "Meet Me" and robbing him by threatening him with a knife.
On Jan. 23 at approximately 10 p.m., Worcester police responded to the area of 63 Endicott St., where a robbery had just happened. A 27-year-old man told police he had just met a woman on the "Meet Me" app and agreed to pick her up that night in the area of 200 Millbury St.
When he got there and picked her up, she told him to pull over a short distance later. When he did, a masked man headed toward the car, opened the door, and threatened him with a knife. The masked man ordered the victim to hand over everything he had, which included a cell phone and a small amount of marijuana. The masked man took off, and the woman in the vehicle also grabbed $300 from the car and fled the scene.
