Woman Pretended To Have Cancer, Stole Checkbook To Buy Luxury Items
A woman stole nearly $1 million, buying five fur coats, a Cartier watch, a diamond ring and a trip to the Bahamas.

WINCHESTER, MA—A Winchester woman was charged this week with bank fraud after allegedly using forged checks and account numbers to steal nearly a million dollars.
Sager Kopchak, who is also known as Sager Dallai, 34, was charged and has agreed to plead guilty to four counts of bank fraud.
In late 2009, Kopchak got in touch with someone she knew and asked to stay with them for a few weeks while recovering from cancer treatment, according to court documents. She stayed with the person through the summer of 2010 and paid no rent or utilities. Kopchak, in fact, did not have cancer and was not undergoing treatment, say authorities.
