Woman Shot On Millbury Street In Worcester, Suspect Placed Under Arrest

WORCESTER, MA — A woman was shot on Millbury Street in Worcester on Tuesday afternoon, a spokesperson for the Worcester Police Department told Patch.

The female was shot around 4:26 p.m. Worcester police officers applied life-saving measures, and she was taken to the hospital as a priority one patient, police said. Police said her injuries were non-life-threatening.

Worcester police said a suspect was quickly identified and placed under arrest.

Police said there is no ongoing threat to the public, and the Worcester Police Department's Detective Bureau is investigating. This was a domestic incident.
