Worcester Adds New Free Coronavirus Test Locations
The state's "Stop the Spread" campaign is expanding in Worcester as cases begin to rise.

WORCESTER, MA — Worcester is adding new free coronavirus testing sites, which will open as cases begin to rise after a lull in late June and early July.
The new testing sites are part of the state's "Stop the Spread" campaign, which is offering free testing in cities and towns that are experiencing a higher level of positive coronavirus tests.
Here are the new sites in Worcester for free tests, which will be available through Aug. 14, except the one-day Worcester Technical High School event:

Greendale Mall parking lot (begins Aug. 9). Appointment only, call 508 847 0623 or 508 755 3773.
- Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Wednesday and Friday, 2 to 7 p.m.
- Sunday, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Thursday 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
