Worcester Antonio Brown Rap Show Canceled After Flight Flop
The former Tampa Bay Buccaneers receiver was set to play Worcester's Whiskey On Water Thursday.

WORCESTER, MA — A scheduled performance Thursday in Worcester by former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown never happened.
The player-turned-rapper was set to perform at Whiskey On Water, but his flight from Miami never made it to Logan, according to MassLive reporter Tom Matthews.
"Bouncer at door said his flight was delayed two hours so he can’t make it," Matthews tweeted just after 10:30 p.m.

Brown, 34, left the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at the end of the last season, stripping off his uniform and pads and walking off the field. He began dabbling in music in 2018 when he appeared on a Drake song, but in 2020 began producing music under the name AB.
He released the single "Pit Not The Palace" shortly after he left the field during the Buccanneers-Jets game.

Brown was briefly a New England Patriot. Over the course of about two weeks in 2019, he went from a $10.5 million contract to being released after a rape accusation. He played one game for the Patriots, scoring a touchdown off Tom Brady.
