WORCESTER, MA — Worcester public school officials have canceled classes and activities for Dec. 3 due to a messy, two-day snowstorm sweeping through the region. Forecasters are predicting an especially messy Tuesday morning commute in the area between Worcester and Boston.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for the area. The warning lasts through noon on Tuesday, and says that between 4 and 10 inches of new snow could fall across the area.
