Two cars were towed and one utility pole was snapped in half after an accident on West Boylston Street.

WORCESTER, MA- West Boylston Road was closed for about an hour on Wednesday morning after a car accident snapped a utility pole in half.
Worcester police say they got the call about a three car accident at 10:51 a.m. Two cars were towed from the scene and National Grid was called in to assess the damaged pole that was involved. Several wires were laying across the street and the road was shut down as a safety precaution.
West Boylston Street was reopened at 11:56 a.m. There were no serious injuries and police say none of the drivers were taken to the hospital. The cause of the crash is unknown, though Worcester police said the snow and weather could have been a factor.
