Worcester Chamber Music Society Brings Baroque Concert To History

The program will feature Baroque Concertos by Telemann, Vivaldi, and Corelli.

From Worcester Chamber Music Society: Worcester Chamber Music Society (WCMS) will bring the spirit and wonder of music to the holidays at the Worcester Historical Museum with “Christmas Concerto” on Thursday, November 29 at 7:30 PM.

The program will feature Baroque Concertos by Telemann, Vivaldi, and Corelli. Musicians will include: Tracy Kraus, flute; Krista Buckland Reisner, violin; Rohan Gregory, violin; Peter Sulski, viola; and Ariana Falk, cello. With special guests Louisa Stonehill, violin; and Andrus Madsen, harpsichord.
“There is no better way to start the holiday season than with Archangelo Corelli’s Christmas Concerto,” WCMS Executive Director Tracy Kraus said. “With brilliant orchestral writing and sharp dynamics, audience members can expect to revel in the splendors of the season and immerse themselves in sounds of peace, joy, and beauty with this performance.”
