Worcester's St. Mary's Schools Cancels Classes Over Coronavirus
St. Mary's Schools serves students in kindergarten through 12th grade.

WORCESTER, MA — A private Worcester Catholic school was one of a handful across Massachusetts that had to cancel class on Monday due to the new coronavirus, COVID-19.
St. Mary's Schools called off school on Monday after a relative of a staff member tested positive for COVID-19, This Week In Worcester first reported on Sunday night. The school is located along Richland Street and serves students in grades kindergarten through 12.
A handful of other schools have closed, beginning with two Wellesley schools on Friday. The Clarksburg School District near North Adams canceled school for the entire week after a person tested positive there.
In Natick, a parent of two high school students tested positive for coronavirus. Natick High School closed on Sunday for a deep cleaning, but school went on as usual on Monday. The two students were not showing symptoms, school officials said.
