Worcester County Motorcyclist Dies In Florida Crash

FLORIDA, MA —A 26-year-old woman from Clinton died Saturday afternoon after crashing her motorcycle into a guardrail along Route 2.

The crash happened just before 4 p.m. in the town of Florida, which is just east of North Adams. Lucienne Montgomery was heading eastbound when she crashed her Harley-Davidson into the guardrail, ejecting her from the vehicle. Montgomery died at the scene, police said.

Police did not immediately know what caused Montgomery to crash. State police and MassDOT were investing the incident over the weekend.
