Worcester County St. Patrick's Parade Sets Date For 2023 Event
The 2023 Worcester County St. Patrick's Parade will be the second in-person parade since 2020.
WORCESTER, MA — The Worcester County St. Patrick's Parade is back again.
Organizers behind the Park Avenue party will host the 41st annual parade this year on March 12. This is the second year the parade has been back in-person since COVID-19 cancellations.
The Worcester-area St. Patrick's Day parade was one of the first big events to be canceled when the pandemic hit in March 2020, and was held off again in 2021.

As usual, the parade will step off around noontime March 12 near the corner of Mill Street and Park Avenue, heading north past throngs of green-and-orange revelers.
For 2023, the Worcester County St. Patrick's Parade Committee has named former Friendly House executive director Gordon Hargrove as the grand marshal. Last year, former city manager Ed Augustus Jr. and Worcester Medical Director Dr. Michael Hirsh march as co-grand marshals.
