WORCESTER, MA — The third annual Dear Santa Extravaganza will take place almost all day on Thursday, offering Worcester residents free meals, gifts and a pre-Christmas visit with Santa Claus.

The 2021 extravaganza will take place at Whiskey On Water in the Canal District during three sessions on Thursday serving brunch, lunch and dinner with food donated by Eddie's Super Plaza. The annual event is organized by Johanna Hampton-Dance, the 2021 District 2 City Council candidate, Linette Wainwright, Jewelz Montalvo and Michael Rice.

"The Dear Santa Extravaganza aims to take the burden off of the community for a night where they don’t have to worry about where their holiday meal is going to come from or what gift they’re going to give their child. All are welcomed and celebrated!" the organizers said in a news release. "This event is the perfect party for all, regardless of how many children you have, how old they are, or if you don’t have children but want to come for the fun and the food!"
