Worcester Firefighters Find Body In Woods
Firefighters putting out a blaze on Granite Street found a body in the woods.
WORCESTER, MA — A body was found in the woods off of Granite Street on Tuesday by Worcester firefighters. The firefighters were in the area for a report of a fire. Police are investigating the death, but said they are treating the case as a suspicious death.
Firefighters were called to the area around 6 a.m. on Tuesday. The body was take to the Medical Examiners Officer to be identified and to figure out the cause of death.
Investigators were on scene into the early afternoon, processing.
