Worcester Guidance Counselor Nominated For LifeChanger Award
Christine Reilly has worked in the Worcester Public School System for over 23 years.

WORCESTER, MA- Twelve Massachusetts teachers have been nominated for the national LifeChanger of the Year Award., and one Worcester guidance counselor made the list.
The award recognizes an educator's ability to make life-changing differences for the students in their community. Christine Reilly was anonymously nominated for her work in Worcester Public Schools. She currently works as a Guidance Counselor with the Coghlin Construction Academy in the Worcester Technical High School.
Reilly has been in the district for 23 years, starting as an adjustment counselor before serving as a guidance counselor. Reilly spends her days working with students, managing scheduling issues, meeting with parents, ensuring student safety, assisting with college prep, comforting students etc.
The nomination page describes Reilly as a giver and always willing to go the extra mile for anyone in need. She has a caseload of over 300 students but the page says she does her best to get to know each individual on a personal level.
"Mrs. Reilly is a fun-loving individual who has worked extremely hard to get to where she is today. Sometimes it takes just one person to believe in a student for them to succeed. Mrs. Reilly makes a difference every day and truly deserves to be recognized as a LifeChanger," her nominator said.
