Worcester Idea Lab Gets 2 New Tenants
Altruist and Lunex Power moved into the Franklin Street coworking space in April.

WORCESTER, MA — The Worcester Business Development Corp. this month welcomed two local startups to the Worcester Idea Lab, a Franklin Street coworking space for new companies.

The Worcester Idea Lab, the co-working and accelerator space at 20 Franklin St., welcomed two new tenants this month, completing the lease up of the accelerator space on the 4th floor.

- Altruist is an all-in-one investment platform for financial advisors and their clients. They are self-described as “fintech focused on investment and portfolio management.”
- Lunex Power is a locally owned solar energy & installation company. Originally started in Massachusetts, Lunex Power has over 35 years of collective experience in the solar industry.
“The Worcester Business Development Corporation is thrilled to acknowledge our long-term Idea Lab member Bluefin Technology Partners. Their presence in our facility has produced countless collaborations and has helped build a culture which welcomes other technology companies such as Altruist and Lunex Power. We are proud to offer flexible and affordable class A office space to help support the regions entrepreneurs and technology professionals”, says Senior Project Manager and Manager of the Idea Lab, Lisa Drexhage.
The Worcester Idea Lab opened in 2015 as part of the $42 million redevelopment project at 20 Franklin Street. The Idea Lab supports a range of organizations from non-profits and universities to high-tech startup companies. The space was generously funded in part by the U.S. Economic Development Administration and MassDevelopment.

The Worcester Idea Lab welcomes new members to the 1st floor co-working space. There are a mixture of seating options available with views of Worcester City Hall and the Worcester Common. Please contact Lisa Drexhage for more information and monthly rates.
