WORCESTER, MA — The impending storm is forecast to bring a plowable amount of snow to Massachusetts and cities like Worcester are taking precautions. The city announced on Saturday that it issued a Declared Parking Ban.

The ban goes into affect on Sunday at 10 a.m. Under a declared ban, there is no parking on any main streets or bus routes in the downtown part of the city. On all other streets, parking is only allowed on the odd numbered sides of the street unless otherwise noted.

Police warned residents that parking enforcement including ticketing and towing will be in effect. Residents can park for free in Municipal Parking Garages on Sunday.
