Worcester JCC Author Series to Feature Barbara Kreiger
Author Barbara Kreiger will review her most recent publication, 'The Dead Sea and the Jordan River,' on Tuesday, February 28.
From the Worcester JCC: The Worcester JCC announced that it will hold its next literary event on Tuesday, February 28 at 7:00 p.m. The JCC's Author Series will feature Barbara Kreiger discussing her latest book The Dead Sea and the Jordan River. The event is free and open to the public, and will include a book signing and dessert reception following Ms. Kreiger’s presentation.

Scholar and Dartmouth professor Barbara Kreiger explores the history of the Jordan River and the Dead Sea, bodies of water that hold immense religious and historical significance. Today, both lake and river present a conservation challenge, bound up with the political conflicts in the region. Kreiger’s engaging narrative chronicles the natural history of these storied bodies of water from ancient times to the present.
