Worcester JCC to Hold Annual Gala
The Worcester JCC announced that it will hold its Annual Gala to benefit its Youth Scholarship Programs on Saturday, February 4.
From the Worcester JCC: The Worcester JCC announced that it will hold its Annual Gala to benefit its Youth Scholarship Programs on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Mechanics Hall, 321 Main Street in Worcester, MA. The exciting evening will begin at 6:00 p.m., and include hors d’oeuvres, dinner, a silent auction and music by Soul Sensations.
“The Annual Gala is an extremely important event for us, as it provides critical funding that helps the JCC provide scholarships to help young people in need benefit from our programs,” said Emily Holdstein, Executive Director of the Worcester JCC. “Over the years our scholarships have helped thousands of children attend our camps, our early education programs, after school, day care and other services. As part of our mission to bring everyone together, we work hard to make sure that cost is not a barrier – and everyone who donates to our scholarships and comes to our Gala is part of making that happen.”
A major theme for the Annual Gala is the celebration of 50 years at the JCC’s 633 Salisbury Street location in Worcester. Many wonderful changes and enhancements have been made over the decades, helping to establish the now 80,000 square foot center community center as a hub of activity, learning and sharing for thousands of people throughout the region.
