Worcester Man, 48, Wounded In Weekend Shooting

The shooting happened Sunday night in the Main South neighborhood, police said.

WORCESTER, MA — A 48-year-old man was hospitalized after a Sunday night shooting in the Main South neighborhood, police said.

Police went to a home at 211 Dewey St. just before 8 p.m. Sunday on a report of a shooting. The victim was found near the home and taken to a local hospital for treatment, police said. Police did not immediately report the severity of his injuries.

Worcester police did not immediately announce any arrests linked to the shooting.
