Police arrested the man on a warrant at a Webster Street home on Tuesday.

WORCESTER, MA — Worcester police this week arrested an 80-year-old city man on fentanyl distribution charges, according to the department.
Police went to the man's Webster Street home on Tuesday to serve a search warrant, but officers spotted him outside his home and arrested him there.
Police said they found him carrying about 10 bags of what appeared to be fentanyl, a powerful synthetic opioid. Inside the home, police said they found drug packaging materials. He was charged with possession of a class A substance with intent to distribute.
