Worcester Man Arrested After Armsby Abbey Break-In

WORCESTER, MA — Worcester police arrested and charged a Main Street man early Saturday morning after a break-in at the restaurant and beer bar Armsby Abbey.

Worcester police went to 144 Main St. business just before 5 a.m. Saturday after a burglary alarm went off. Inside, they found a man hiding behind a pillar inside the dining area.

Police said they found the man carrying a metal rod, plus several credit cards. He was charged with breaking and entering at night to commit a felony, larceny from a building and possession of a burglary tool.
