Worcester Man Arrested For Fentanyl and Heroin Trafficking

State Police arrested a Worcester man this week.

WORCESTER, MA—A Worcester man is facing drug charges after the Massachusetts State Police's Gang Unit searched his home and car.

On Wednesday July 26, troopers and the Worcester Police Vice Squad and Gang Unit, searched a Worcester residence and a 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt, resulting in recovering 109 grams of heroin, 41.9 grams of fentanyl, 16.9 grams of cocaine, packaging materials and a large amount of cash.

Juan P. Ortiz-Ruiz, 40, Worcester, was arrested and charged with Trafficking in Fentanyl, Trafficking in heroin, Possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and Conspiracy to violate drug laws.
