Worcester Man Facing Drug Trafficking & Gun Charges
Police found crack in the man's car and cocaine, guns and cash in his home.

WORCESTER, MA- A Worcester man is facing drug trafficking charges after Worcester County and Middlesex County state police found crack cocaine in his car and drugs and stolen guns in his home.
On the morning of Feb. 27 troopers assigned to the Middlesex County State police detectives unit had a warrant to search Walter Estrada's car, as part of an undercover investigation. Troopers watched the car for most of the morning and waited for Estrada to park before they stopped him for the search of his car, according to state police. The state police Air Wing was tracking the car from above as well.
Troopers found 100 grams of crack cocaine in the passenger compartment and he was arrested while troopers got a search warrant for his home.
After a thorough search of the house, troopers found an additional 1.5 kilograms of cocaine, two stolen firearms, ammunition, digital scales, cash, and electronics. Estrada was arraigned at Framingham District Court the following day and was charged with trafficking in cocaine.
In addition to that charge, troopers will be filing a criminal complaint for the following charges:
-Trafficking in Cocaine;
-Possession of a Firearm Without a License;
-Possession of Ammunition Without an FID Card;
-Felon in Possession of a Firearm;
-Receiving Stolen Property, under $1200; and
-Conspiracy to Violate Drug laws.
