Worcester Man Going To Disney After $1M Lotto Win

WORCESTER, MA — A Worcester man recently won $1 million on a scratch ticket, and he's going to Disney World.

Jeffrey Henry bought a $30 "Diamond Millions" scratcher at the V&D Variety store in Auburn. Part of the winnings will pay for a trip for Henry and his son to Florida, he told state lottery officials.

The odds of winning the top prize on "Diamond Millions" are about one in 252,000 — and there are 59 of those million-dollar winners in circulation, according to the lottery. The store that sold the ticket will get a $10,000 bonus.

Henry wasnt't the only Worcester winner recently. Thoung Huynh won $100,000 on Dec. 6 after playing Mass Cash at Star Dollar & More 363 Chandler St., Worcester.
