Worcester Man Killed In Route 290 Crash
State Police said they are investigating if a second vehicle was involved in a crash that killed a 50-year-old Worcester man.
WORCESTER, MA — A 50-year-old Worcester man died in a crash on Route 290, according to State Police.
The crash happened around 7:45 p.m., Friday. According to State Police, the man was taking the ramp to Route 190 northbound when he crashed his Jeep. State Police said the man left the ramp and struck the sidewall on the left side of the overpass.
State Police said the man was dead at the scene. His passenger, an 18-year-old woman, suffered minor injuries. State Police did not release the man's name.
State Police said they are investigating if a second vehicle was involved in the crash. Anyone with information or dash cam video is asked to call the Holden barracks at 508-829-8410 and ask for Trooper Carroll.
