Worcester Man Pleads Guilty To Child Sex Abuse

The 28-year-old now faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years in prison.

WORCESTER, MA — A Worcester man pleaded guilty to sexually exploiting three underage females, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office in Massachusetts.

Antonio Merced pleaded guilty to three counts of sexual exploitation of a minor and one count of possession of child pornography. The 28-year-old now faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years in prison.

Last year, Merced exposed two children to pornography and sex toys, and an investigation later revealed multiple videos he took of the children, according to USAO.

Merced was arrested in Sept. 2024 and faced multiple charges, including two counts of aggravated rape of a child, one count of dissemination of child sexual abuse material and three counts of dissemination of obscene material to a minor.

He is scheduled for sentencing on Nov. 21.
