Worcester Man Rolled Himself In Rug To Hide From Police: MSP
The 26-year-old was wanted in connection to a home invasion in Northborough.
WORCESTER, MA — A Worcester man rolled himself into a rug to hide from police who wanted to arrest him in connection to a Northborough home invasion.
State and Worcester police went to a Cutler Street home on Wednesday night searching for Tyler Rawson, 26. Police believed he was involved in an armed home invasion in Northborough on Wednesday morning.
Police searched Rawson's home, but it was empty. Then, a trooper spotted some discarded items, including a rolled-up rug, on the roof of the home. When police went up on the roof, they found Rawson inside the rug and arrested him.

Worcester police booked Rawson on charges of home invasion, breaking and entering a building to commit a felony, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, making threats and several gun violations.
