WORCESTER, MA—A Worcester man who thought he was soliciting a minor, but was actually soliciting an undercover federal agent, was sentenced in federal court on Monday. Timothy Biddy, 38, was sentenced to six years in prison and five years of supervised release for trying to engage in illicit sexual conduct and attempted transfer of obscene images to a minor. Biddy pleaded guilty in May of 2017. According to the U.S. Attorney's office, from October 2016 to November 2016, an undercover federal agent posing as a 13-year-old girl began texting with Biddy. During the communications, Biddy proposed to meet the minor to engage in illicit sexual conduct in Sioux Falls, S.D., and graphically described sexual acts he wished to perform with her.
