Worcester Man Stabbed To Death By Teen Near Times Square: Cops
The 39-year-old man was stabbed in the torso and back, and slashed across his face, police said.
NEW YORK, NY — A Worcester man was brutally stabbed and slashed to death by a teenager near Times Square, police said.
Leonides Baez, 39, was stabbed in the torso and back, and slashed across the face, in front of the Burger & Lobster restaurant, a half block from Bryant Park shortly after 11:30 p.m. Monday, according to a New York Police Department spokesperson.
Baez was taken to Bellevue Hospital, where he died, the spokesperson said.
About 2:30 a.m. Thursday, a 17-year-old was arrested in connection with the killing of Baez. The teen was charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon, the spokesperson said.
