Worcester Morning School Buses Delayed

Substitute buses are being used on some routes to keep things on track. The district advises parents to double check bus numbers.

WORCESTER, MA- Worcester Public School buses were delayed Friday morning after the district announced it would have a two hour delay. The district took to social media to announce it was on top of the issue.

Buses along Route 52 to South High and Route 80 to Holy Name ran behind schedule- the district said they had been in contact with the bus vendor, Durham School Services.

The bus vendor assured Worcester Public Schools around 9:50 a.m. that all buses, except one, were running back on schedule with the help of some substitute buses. The only bus that remained delayed was bus 80 to Holy Name, OLA and St. Peter Central. The district warned students and parents to be careful with bus numbers.
