Worcester PD Investigate Weekend Stabbing

A fight early Saturday morning led to the stabbing of one man.

WORCESTER, MA- Worcester police are investigating a stabbing that took place early Saturday morning after a fight in the Kenmore Diner parking lot.

Police got a call about a large fight in the parking lot at 2:32 a.m. on Saturday, but the scene was clear by the time they arrived. Soon after, officers got a call from a local emergency room about a man who had been stabbed in the stomach and walked into the hospital.

As officers talked to the man they found out he was involved in the diner parking lot fight with a group already there and was stabbed once in the stomach. The crowd cleared out after that and the police arrived once the fight was over. The man who was stabbed has non-life threatening injuries.
