Worcester PD Joins College, DPW, Community, To Clean Up Coes Knife Park

Police joined several others to form a team to clean up a future site at the park.

WORCESTER, MA—Worcester cops were busy with a different kind of community effort of the weekend.

As part of the Working for Worcester Build Day, on Saturday, officers from the Worcester Police's Neighborhood Response Team helped out at Coes Knife Park by cleaning up a future site.

Volunteers from the College of the Holy Cross, local residents, community leaders and members of the DPW, Forestry and Parks Department, joined the officers. They cleared away trash, brush, leaves and debris in preparation for the future expansion of the park.
