Worcester Police Arrest 2 Men Connected To Burned Body Case

The victim was Benjamin Jesus Pacheco Colón, a 30-year-old music producer.

WORCESTER, MA — Police have made two more arrests in connection to the death of a man found wrapped in bubblewrap and burning in a wooded area off of Granite Street last week. The victim, 30-year-old Benjamin Jesus Pacheco Colón, was a music producer.

Primitivo Matos and Daniel Luis Rivera were arrested and charged with accessory after the fact to murder, over the weekend, according to MassLive. On Friday, Rafael Guzman was arrested in connection to the incident.

Police deemed the death suspicious at the start of the investigation. The medical examiner labeled Pancheco's death a homicide, although the cause of death has not been released.

Pancheco was a native of Puerto Rico and moved tot he city when he was just two — he graduated from Doherty High School and received a degree from ITT Technical Institute, according to his obituary. As a popular music producer in the state, he was known as "Benny Beats."
