Worcester Police Arrest Man For Selling Drugs In Bell Hill Area

Police went to the man's Stanton Street home on Tuesday morning to serve a search warrant. They found him outside on the street.

WORCESTER, MA — Worcester police arrested and charged a 53-year-old man Tuesday morning in the Bell Hill area, accusing him of selling crack cocaine.

Around 9 a.m. Tuesday, police went to a home along Stanton Street to serve a search warrant. Nearby at the corner of Stanton and Vinton streets, police saw the person whose home they were about to search.

When police detained the man, they say they found him carrying crack cocaine. At his home, police said they found more cocaine, plus scales and other evidence of a drug-selling operation. He was charged with possession of a class B substance with intent to distribute, resisting arrest and an outstanding warrant.
