Worcester Police Investigate Memorial Day Weekend Hit and Run

WORCESTER, MA — Worcester police are investigating a hit and run that happened over Memorial Day weekend and left a man with serious injuries. Police said he is expected to survive but they are still searching for the car that hit him.

The incident happened on Sunday night on Orient Street. The 53-year-old man was walking and attempted to cross Orient Street when a car hit him. Police said the car was speeding. The man was taken to the hospital with serious injuries including broken bones, but police said he is expected to survive.
