Worcester Police Searching For Missing Bakery Worker

The missing woman was last seen leaving her job at the Bean Counter on Grove Street, police said.

WORCESTER, MA — The Worcester police have put out a call for the public's help in locating a missing bakery worker.

Joanna Brown was last seen leaving her job at the Bean Counter on Grove Street about 9 a.m. Friday, according to police.

Brown is 5-foot-6 and has hazel eyes, police said. She may be in a 2025 Gray Mitsubishi Outlander with Massachusetts license plate 5GPN93 and is possibly in the Holyoke or Springfield area.

"She has not shown up to work or contacted friends or family, which is unlike her," police said in a Facebook post.

A post on the Bean Counter Bakery on Grove Street called Brown a "valuable member of our team."

"She has been greeting our customers with her smile for 8 years!" The post said.

"She has never just not show up for her shift until Saturday November 1st," the post said. "If you know Joanna's whereabouts, please contact the Worcester Police immediately."

We miss her terribly and praying for her safe return.

The police anyone with information about Brown's whereabouts to call 911 or 508-799-8606.
