WORCESTER, MA — With opening day coming next month, the Worcester Red Sox are starting to hire for the team's 2023 season.

The WooSox will hold a job fair Feb. 18 at Polar Park, seeking applicants for jobs ranging from ushers and security to team store employees, camera operators and mascots. Many of the positions are part-time, with the team pitching the open positions as good for students, retirees and people looking for supplemental income.

"For students, it’s a foot in the door. For folks in the middle of their career, it’s a supplemental job. And for retirees, it’s a pleasant way to stay active. For the WooSox, it’s a way to help ensure that our staff reflects our community. All are welcome," WooSox President Charles Steinberg said in a news release.
