Worcester Residence Inn Hotel Acquired By Private Equity Firm

The Worcester hotel was recently purchased for just over $20 million by AAM15, a private equity firm based out of Burlington.

WORCESTER, MA - AAM15 Management, a Burlington-based private equity firm, recently purchased the Residence Inn by Marriott in Worcester for $20.35 million, according to documents from the Worcester Registry of Deeds.

The three-star hotel, complete with a gym, indoor pool and close proximity to Worcester’s downtown scene, was once ranked one of the cleanest in the country by AAA.

In 2017, a 5-foot python was found abandoned in one of its rooms.

AAM15 has a diverse portfolio of hotels, restaurants and auto shops. It owns several Kelly’s Roast Beef and Seafood locations, including one in Worcester, and its real estate ventures span to Burlington, VT.
