Worcester Resident Finalist In National Anthem Audition
Kristin DeFosse was a finalist for New England Revolution's National Anthem Auditions

WORCESTER, MA — Kristin DeFosse of Worcester was one of 11 finalists invited by the New England Revolution to compete for the chance to perform the national anthem at a Revs home match during the 2019 season. She earned the opportunity by edging out the competition during the eighth annual National Anthem Auditions and making it to the live final showdown on March 21, at Lansdowne Pub in Boston.
She performed "My Favorite Things" from "The Sound of Music" soundtrack. During Round 1 she performed for guest judges – Teal Bunbury, New England Revolution forward; Charlie Davies, New England Revolution Club Ambassador; Patrick Heenehan, Event Presentation Supervisor of Kraft Sports Group; and Ashley Jordan, 2018 Boston Music Awards ‘Country Artist of the Year'. The judges were tasked with cutting down 11 finalists to three winners. Elizabeth Pehota, reporter for the Revs, served as emcee.
