Worcester Plans Free Flu Clinics For Students, Families

Two upcoming clinics in Main South and Union Hill will feature flu shots and coronavirus testing.

WORCESTER, MA — Worcester students and their families will get the chance to take part in two upcoming free flu clinics sponsored by the school district.

The clinics will also feature free coronavirus testing, vaccines for students age 4 to 18 provided by Worcester Public Schools, and free vaccines for adults from Walgreen's. Students and adults should bring proof of insurance.

In late August, Gov. Charlie Baker announced that Massachusetts would require all students 6 months or older — including college students — to get the flu vaccine by Dec. 31.

The upcoming Worcester clinics will happen on these dates:

Sept. 21, 2 to 6 p.m.
Mulcahy Field, 158 Dorchester St. (across from Worcester East Middle)

Sept. 23, 2 to 6 p.m.
University (Crystal) Park, 965 Main St.
