Worcester St. Patrick's Day Parade Postponed to March 24

This is the second time in the parade's history that it has been postponed.

WORCESTER, MA- Worcester County residents will have to save their shamrock pins just a bit longer than usual as the county decided to delay the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade.

Originally scheduled for March 10 the parade has been postponed to March 24 due to impending snow and sleet in the forecast. This marks the second time in the parade's history that it has been postponed. The first time was in 1994 when a blizzard threw plans astray.

The Guinness Celtic 5K has also been rescheduled to the same date.
