The incident happened around noon at the TD Bank location at 295 Park Ave. Worcester police closed the main street between Pleasant and Chandler street to investigate the device, diverting road and pedestrian traffic from the area. Around 1:15 p.m., police reopened the roadway and reported that they had taken one person into custody.
