WORCESTER, MA — Worcester Police Department's K-9 unit was given a special gift by the students at Worcester Technical High School on Thursday. This hand-made gift was no macaroni necklace — students built the unit a K-9 agility course.

The course is located at Worcester County Jail and House of Corrections. It includes fences and walls for the K-9 officers to practice jumping over and tall ramps to climb.

Worcester Police Department Command Staff took the dogs out on the course to demonstrate how it will be used. The dogs leapt through the open windows and bolted over the ramps, showing off their training.
