Worcester Teen Arrested At North High School

Police said the teen assaulted the school resource officer.

WORCESTER, MA- A 16-year-old Worcester teen was arrested at North High School on Friday.

Police said the school resource officer at the school was responding to a fight that broke out in the cafeteria. The teen assaulted the officer, according to police.

The school resource officer attempted to restrain the teen and eventually brought him into custody when more officers arrived.

The teen is charged with Assault, Assault and Battery, Assault and Battery on a Police Officer, and Resisting Arrest. He will be arraigned in Worcester District Court.

The investigation is ongoing.
